The competition will assess contestants across multiple dimensions including popularity, makeup, posture, talent, stage presence, and energy.

The participant with the highest overall score will be awarded the title of 2024 Hanfu Lady/Gentleman. The competition consists of two rounds: the semi-finals and the finals.

After completing registration, participants will receive confirmation of their semi-final group information via email and text message from the organizers. Semi-finals can be participated in either in person or via video link. While participants are strongly encouraged to compete in person, those opting for video participation should ensure they test their signals beforehand and ensure their video equipment has sufficient battery life.

The list of finalists will be announced by June 28th. Participants must pay the final fee and confirm their participation within three working days, otherwise their spot will be forfeited and given to other contestants.

The organizers will arrange for all finalists to have free personal image photo shoots for promotional purposes before the final. Attendance in person is required for the finals. Any contestant arriving more than 30 minutes late will be disqualified from the competition.
